Healthy Resolutions Include Daily Reading for a Healthy Mind
Scientific studies have found many benefits of reading for older adults. These include everything from reducing stress and enhancing sleep to improving memory circuits, sharpening decision-making, and possibly even delaying the onset of dementia, according to an article published in Aging & Health from July 2021.
The article said that there are five mental benefits from reading that preserve mental faculties and enable people to live independently for a longer length of time. The five benefits are as follows.
